Recital

Today was my first Violin recital. I got to dress up in my favorite dress of the hour, mom did my hair, we went to lunch with my great friend Alexa, and then I did Run-D.M.C. & Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" in A-minor. Just kidding.

My Diary, Day 50

Not exactly sure when these folks are going to learn to speak Yangzhou Dialect. Somedays... I feel like I'm not getting anywhere with them. I've had to resort to picking up some pieces of their arcane form of communication. The short one helps the most... she has taught me "No", "I do it", "Iwannnnt Mowre". Mommy #1 keeps trying with "Pleezzah", which I believe means "give it to me now", and I'm required to say at least 2-3 times before they comply. She's a complete Milk-freak... why cannot I exercise my newly found Constitutional right as a new citizen of the U.S.A. to pass on the stuff. It's not like the cow volunteered for the duty - I am trying to stand up for the rights of our bovine friends and say "No!" (thanks, short one) to the white stuff.

my new brother

he's okay, I guess, as long as he stays out of my way. it's actually kind of nice to have someone small like me around here. sometimes we have to have our diapers changed at the same time- that really ruffles Mom and Dad!! you can't plan that stuff! otherwise we get on fine as long as he knows I'm boss. and that I have first dibs on Mom.
I hesitate to mention it, because it's weird, but I have noticed a strange bit behind his diaper... I don't have one of those... wonder where he got it? that's something I need to figure out.....
